School Hours

Breakfast Club opens at 8 am (we stop admitting pupils to breakfast club at 8.20 am to give enough time to serve and clear away).  This is a free facility funded by the Welsh Government and aims to provide children with a healthy breakfast. 

Full-Time Pupils

Pupils can enter their classrooms from 8.35 am.  The school day starts promptly at 8.45 am and finishes at 3 pm. 

The hours spent on teaching during the normal week are 21 hours 45 minutes in Foundation Learning classes (infants) and 23 hours 30 minutes in our older classes (key stage 2/juniors).

We ask parents to bring children to school punctually. 

End of the Day

Parents wait for their children outside their child’s class in the infants and outside the designated entry/exit points in the juniors.  Children will be brought to the outer doors by the teachers.  You will be asked to complete a contact form detailing people who might collect your child/ren.   Staff adhere strictly to this list.  Please help us by ensuring it is up-to-date at all times.
